Westcoast Motorcycle Ride For Dad Sunday May 31st 2009 had over 1800 Motorcycles & Raised Pledges totaling $142,159 for Prostate Cancer Research & Education in BC Canada. 2009 RIDE Dedication in Memory of Mike Bruce & RIDE Tribute to Canadian Armed Forces. The Ride started at Trev Deeley Motorcycles Vancouver BC with a Bang "Howitzer C3 105 mm Cannon" & an escorted Parade led by the Vancouver Police Motorcycle Drill Team to Ambleside Park in West Vancouver BC. From there, a self-guided poker run tour to Maquabeak Park in Coquitlam BC to Golden Ears Park in Maple Ridge BC "Lunch Stop" then to the end Celebration at Fraser Downs Racetrack & Casino in Cloverdale BC. Classic ROCK101 Radio Personality Star Bro Jake Edwards was the Master of Ceremony at the end Celebration which consisted of VIP Speakers, Cheque Presentations, Introduction to the Westcoast Ride for Dad Executive Committee & a Special Ride Dedication Presentation to Cathy, wife of former founding member Mike Bruce of Carter Motorsports. Entertainment was provided by the amazing tunes of group Run GMC starting with the Essence of Elvis. Bro Jake & Canadian 6-Time Super Bike Champion Steve Crevier signed autographs for the crowd.
